Grethe Sønck (16 July 1929 – 12 February 2010[1][2]) was a Danish actress and singer.
Sønck was born in Hjerm, located outside Struer, she was originally named Grethe Ingeborg Nielsen Hald, but changed name to Sønck in 1968. In 1946 she won a talent contest, and in 1947 she got a job as singer at Restaurant Sommerlyst at Dyrehavsbakken in Denmark.
As revue actress she started in Cirkusrevyen at Dyrehavsbakken in 1962, and later came to Nykøbing Falster Revue. Sønck has been married twice. First time in 1952 with Hjalmar Nicolaus until 1960, and a second time with Volmer Sørensen, whom she met in 1958, and lived with until his death in 1982.
Grethe Sønck died on 12 February 2010 of natural causes at her home in Rågeleje.[3]
