Bruntclife High School of morley Leeds ran a successful exchange programme there. The pioneers for this were Mrs Cooper and students of her French class including Michael Carroll who attended the first two of the these exchanges and broke many a French girls heart his name still echoes round the region when young French girls say that all they want to meet is there very own Michael Carroll.
