MacPherson's sixth album, Mr. Invitation, was released on March 30, 2010[2] and was long listed for the 2010 Polaris Music Prize.
In addition to his musical career, MacPherson co-owns Canadian indie label, Disintegration Records and works as a community organizer in Winnipeg's inner city.
