Greg Cochrane (born 1 November 1990) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer.

Career

Early career

Born in Holland, Pennsylvania, Cochrane attended Council Rock High School South in his hometown before attending Virginia Tech for which he played soccer at for two seasons before joining the University of Louisville and playing for the Louisville Cardinals in soccer for two seasons as well.[1]

Los Angeles Galaxy

On January 17, 2013 Cochrane was drafted in the second round of the 2013 MLS SuperDraft by the Los Angeles Galaxy and on March 1, 2013 it was officially confirmed that Cochrane had signed with the team.[2] Then on April 13, 2013 Cochrane made his professional debut for the Galaxy against FC Dallas at FC Dallas Stadium in which he started the match.[3]
