Greg Chaisson is an accomplished bass guitarist who has been in various bands including Badlands,with Jake E. Lee of Ozzy and Eric Singer of Kiss, Surgical Steel, Legs Diamond, Blindside Blues Band, Die Happy, and Red Sea. He was also involved with the band Steeler, which was Yngwie Malmsteen's first American band and was started by Ron Keel. He currently resides in Phoenix, Az. with his wife and children, and can be seen playing the occasional gig with local original and cover bands. He currently plays in his original band Deep Black Led. The band features Michael Beck on vocals and Ryan McKay on guitar. For a complete change of pace he is also an assistant baseball coach at Arizona Christian University.

He also has a solo album titled It's About Time (1994).
