The Great Orlando Wheel (or Orlando Great Wheel) was a 400 ft (122 m) giant Ferris wheel proposed by Great Wheel Corporation for Orange County, Florida, United States, near Orlando.

It would have provided a 25-mile (40 km) view of Central Florida attractions such as SeaWorld, Universal Studios and Walt Disney World, as well as firework displays and rocket launches from Kennedy Space Center.

It was to have been constructed adjacent to the OrlandoOrange County Convention Center, near Interstate 4, SeaWorld, and International Drive. Plans included an integrated terminal building with commercial and retail facilities.

Early in 2009 it was announced that the project had been suspended, but not cancelled, after losing its funding as a result of the international credit crunch.[1]
