A graphics engine is a type of computer program responsible for drawing computer graphics. The term may refer to:

  • Game engine, a system designed for the creation and development of video games
    • First person shooter graphics engine, a video game engine specialized for simulating 3D environments for use in a first-person shooter video game
  • Graphics engine (hardware), a specialized computer hardware device for performing graphics calculations independently of a computer's main processor
