Career
Selected Australian Schoolboys 1982 & 1983. Selected Queensland v New Zealand 1984 (18years 254 days old). He toured Papua New Guinea with the President's XIII Australian side in 1985. He was selected for Queensland for State of Origin III in 1986 (49th player to be selected for Queenland).Played Brisbane Broncos 1988-1990. Member of the Brisbane Broncos coaching staff 1991-1993. He coach Brisbane Norths Devils 1994-1995.
Challenge Cup final appearances
Grant Rix played Centre, i.e. number 4, in Halifax RLFC’s 19-18 victory over St. Helens in the 1987 Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 2 May 1987 in front of 94,273 people.
