Graham "Buzz" Bidstrup is an Australian musician, songwriter, music producer and artist manager. He has been a member of The Angels, The Party Boys and Gang Gajang. He has managed Jimmy Little, Nathan Cavaleri and Diana Ah Naid. He is part of the management team for the Jimmy Little Foundation.[1]

Biography

The Angels

Bidstrup was an early drummer for The Angels and recorded four albums with them. Three of these albums went platinum, two reaching the top ten. Bidstrup co wrote the bands top 10 single "no secrets".

Gang Gajang

Bidstrup was a founding member of Gang Gajang. The band was built out of being part of the crew of musicians/songwriters including Chris Bailey (band mate from The Angels) on bass guitar. They recorded the platinum selling soundtrack to the ABC TV series Sweet and Sour, for which Bidstrup was an Associate Music Director. Gang Gajang released three albums with Bidstrup, including the self titled album which spawned the song "Sounds of Then (This is Australia)".

The Party Boys

Bidstrup was a founding member of The Party Boys, an all-star covers band. They recorded three live albums with him, each going gold.

Bidstrup has also played with Fahrenheit 451(band), Red Angel Panic, The Swingers, Gotham City, The Stetsons, Riptides, Catfish, Dave Steel Band and Jimmy Barnes Band.

Bidstup has been producer or co-producer on recordings by artists such as Riptides, The Party Boys, Gang Gajang, The Stetsons, Dave Steel, James Blundell, The Sunnyboys, Nathan Cavaleri, Diana Ah Naid and Jimmy Little and Leah Purcell. He has played as a session musician of albums by artist such as Swanee, Mondo Rock, Richard Clapton, Broderick Smith, Australian Crawl, Daryl Braithwaite, Dave Steel, James Blundell, Nathan Cavaleri and Jimmy Barnes
