The Government of Pichilemu comprises the Mayor of Pichilemu and Pichilemu City Council. They are housed within Pichilemu town hall.

The Pichilemu Police, Carabineros de Pichilemu or officially Tercera Comisaría de Carabineros de Pichilemu, is the police force of Pichilemu. It is commanded by Tomás Molina Meza.[2]
The police station is located in front of the former Pichilemu post office building, in Daniel Ortúzar avenue.[1]
