Government Technology magazine is the flagship periodical of Folsom, California-based publishing company e.Republic Incorporated. The magazine aims to deliver editorial content to information technology professionals working in the public-sector, primarily in state and local government.
Established in 1987, Government Technology magazine is a considered a trade or business-to-business publication. Circulation, according to e.Republic, was 77,897[1] at the end of the 2008 fiscal year. Over the years the magazine has won 75 awards[2] from various organizations that recognize excellence in business publications.
The magazine's motto is "Solutions for State and Local Government in the Information Age."
