Gorinta is an Indian village in Peddapuram Mandal in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh.This Village is located on the road linking Samalkot to prathipadu.

Gorinta is also the leaf name of Lawsonia inermis in Telugu.

It is noted for its Kanaka Durga, Thallamma, Swamy Ayappa, Pedda Ramalayam and Vinayaka temples. The current sarpanch of Gorinta is Barre Ramagovindu. There is talk among people that Gorinta village is being developed under the ruling of Baree Rama Govindu.

People & Culture: Agriculture is main profession here and rice, sugar cane and moong dal are main cultivations. The major festivals like Sankranthi, Deepavali and Vijayadashami are celebrated

Politics: Number of voters in Gorinta are approximately 1800. They are politically very much aware. Previously there were two major parties Congress and TDP which ruled Gorinta. But, currently TDP is completely swept away by PRP which is launched by Chiranjeevi who is adored by more than 80% of gorinta people.
