Gorgan County (Persian: شهرستان گرگان) is a county in Golestan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Gorgan.[1] At the 2006 census, the county's population was 393,887, in 105,120 families.[2] The county has two districts: Central District and Baharan District. The county has two cities: Gorgan and Sarkhon Kalateh.
