Gordie Ion is a retired Canadian association football player and since December 2009 of the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame.[1]

Career

He played club football for Vancouver North Shore United[2] and Vancouver Firefighters.[3]

International career

Ion earned 2 caps for the Canadian national side in 1957,[4] scored three assists of five goals against USA on 22 June 1957.[5]

Personal life

His son is Greg Ion.

Honours
