Gordhan Zadafia

Gordhan Zadafia was a General Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Party, Ahmedabad City and a member of (1) Ninth Gujarat Legislative Assembly, 1995–97, (2) Tenth Gujarat Legislative Assembly, 1998–2002. Minister for Home and Security and Police Housing (Independent Charge) Departments in the Government of Gujarat during Tenth Gujarat Legislative Assembly 1998-2002.[1]
He had rebelled against the Narendra Modi regime and floated a new political party, Mahagujarat Janata Party (MJP) during 2007 assembly election in Gujarat. Later he merged his party with Gujarat Parivartan Party formed by senior politician and Ex- chief minister of Gujarat Keshubhai Patel to contest in 2012 assembly elections.
