Goran Janus (born March 27, 1970 in Ljubljana, SR Slovenia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a former Slovenian ski jumper, and current head coach of the Slovenian ski jumping team.[1][2]
He debuted in December 1989. He was the first Slovenian jumper to jump over 200 meters, in Planica 1997 where he landed at 205.5 meters. When he was asked what he thought of his flight, he responded : "Daleč je neslo" which translated into English means "It went far".
