Gopal Rai is a social activist and politician of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Background

Rai began his career with the Far-Left All India Students Association in Lucknow University in 1992.[1][2] He is a member of the National Executive of the Aam Aadmi party.[3]

Politics

Gopal Rai and two other member will lead "Mein Bhi Aam Aadmi" campaign which will start on January 10 and continue till January 26 2014, is meant for handling fund collection, association and management of other political groups.[4]

Rai lost the election from the Babarpur constituency got 25723 votes and stood in 3rd place in Delhi legislative assembly elections, 2013.[5]
