The Golden-spangled Piculet (Picumnus exilis) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is found in Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest.
