Gogri Jamalpur is a city and a notified area in Khagaria district in the Indian state of Bihar.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Gogri Jamalpur had a population of 31,093. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Gogri Jamalpur has an average literacy rate of 48%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 56%, and female literacy is 39%. In Gogri Jamalpur, 20% of the population is under 6 years of age. K.D.S college, Gogri is the only college.
