Godawari is a village development committee in Lalitpur District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011,[1] it had a population of 15,572 in 1,825 individual households. Botanical Garden is also in Godawari to take care of plants and trees.

To Promote local culture Godawari has one FM radio station ECR FM - 104.2 MHz Which is a Community radio Station.
