Gobind Singh Deo is a prominent Malaysian lawyer and politician and is the current Member of Parliament representing Puchong. He is also the national legal bureau secretary of the Democratic Action Party. He is dubbed the “little lion of Puchong”.[citation needed]

Admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1996, a year after returning from Lincoln's Inn, Gobind is more known for being the son and protégé of Karpal Singh, the National Chairman of the Democratic Action Party. His brother, Jagdeep Singh Deo, is a state assemblyman for Datuk Keramat state seat in Penang.
