Gnomes (first published in Dutch in 1976 as Leven en werken van de kabouter) is a 1977 book, one in a series of books, written by Wil Huygen and illustrated by Rien Poortvliet.[1]
The 1980 film Gnomes, and the series David the Gnome and Wisdom of the Gnomes are based on this book.
The book was followed by:
