Gnilec [ˈɡnilɛt͡s] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Narewka, within Hajnówka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) west of Narewka, 14 km (9 mi) north-east of Hajnówka, and 45 km (28 mi) south-east of the regional capital Białystok.
