Gmina Leśnica, German Gemeinde Leschnitz is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Strzelce County, Opole Voivodeship, in Upper Silesia in Poland. Its seat is the town of Leśnica (Leschnitz), which lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Strzelce Opolskie and 32 km (20 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole.

The gmina covers an area of 94.63 square kilometres (36.5 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 8,757 (out of which the population of Leśnica amounts to 2,945, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 5,812). Since 2006 the commune, like much of the area, has been bilingual in German and Polish, a substantial German population remaining in the area after Silesia was given to Poland.

The gmina contains part of the protected area called Góra Świętej Anny Landscape Park.
