Gmina Chełm is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Chełm County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Pokrówka, which lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Chełm and 64 km (40 mi) east of the regional capital Lublin.

The gmina covers an area of 221.82 square kilometres (85.6 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 12,602.

The gmina contains part of the protected area called Chełm Landscape Park.
