Globehunters is an online travel company and part of A1 Travel Deals Ltd based in London, UK. The company is notable for being one of the fastest-growing online travel companies in the UK, reporting a year on year growth of 15% [1] in 2013.

History

Globehunters was founded by Chander Shekhar Verma, Swati Verma and Prabha Adhikari in 2009 with 10 telephone travel agents.

In June 2013, the company moved its UK headquarters from Woking to Earlsfield, London. The company currently employs over 100 staff and operates from two offices, seven days a week.

Awards and Recognition

Globehunters won the ‘Top Travel 2 Airfares Agent’ category at trade-only consolidator Travel 2’s 2013 Agent Achievement Awards in London. The company was also nominated for the ‘Best North American Agent’ award.[2]

In December 2013 Globehunters received coverage in the international travel press [3] and the UK travel press [4] for its survey of UK adults’ opinions of child-free zones on planes.
