Globe is an unincorporated community in Douglas County, Kansas. It is located along U.S. Highway 56 in Marion Township.
It was originally called Marion after Francis Marion until being renamed Globe, likely another city had the same name. It had a post office from 1870 to 1894 and again from 1895 to 1900.
