Global Bio-chem Technology Group Company Limited (GBT) (SEHK: 809) is a listed biotechnology company in Hong Kong. Its parent company is the Changchun Dacheng Industry Group.[1]
Business
It is involved in the manufacture, research and development of corn-based biochemical products in China.[2] It is headquartered in Hong Kong and with its production facilities based in Changchun and Dehui in Jilin province, China.
History
The company was established in 1994 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2001. It spun off its sweeteners business, Global Sweeteners (SEHK: 3889), on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2007.[3][4][5]
