Glidas is an unincorporated community in the Heth Township of Harrison County, Indiana, United States. The community is centered where Glidas Lane intersects with Old State Highway 135. In earlier days, the community was an advance trading post for Mauckport where farm stores where collected for export on the Ohio River.
The trading post at one point served a post office and is now used as a home belonging to the Dennison family. Prior to their ownership it belonged to the Kingsley family, longtime residents of the Glidas area.
There is a pumping station for the South Harrison Community Water Corporation on the eastern side of Glidas.
