Giuliani (turkey)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Giuliani is a name given to female wild turkey spotted in Riverside Park. A wild turkey was spotted in New York's Riverside Park (adjacent to the Hudson River) as early as 2003, and wild turkeys have been reported there since. Wild turkeys, which can fly, frequent many parks in Manhattan and other parts of New York City and nearby areas.
New Yorkers who frequent the park have taken to calling the turkeys they see there Giuliani, after Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City.
