"Girl On TV" is the title of a song written and recorded by the American boy band LFO. It was released in November 1999, from their album LFO. The song was also their second single and peaked at #10 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100[1] on November 30 (after reaching the Top 40 on November 16) and #6 in the UK, where it was their biggest hit. "Girl on TV" was certified Gold by RIAA in 2000 for the shipment of over 500,000 copies in the US.[2]

Music video

The video featured actress Jennifer Love Hewitt, on whom the song is based. Gregory Dark directed the video.
