Giorgos Angelopoulos (alternate spellings: Georgios, George, Aggelopoulos) (Greek: Γιώργος Αγγελόπουλος) is a Greek businessman. Angelopoulos is a shipping magnate and a steel magnate. He is also the co-owner of the professional Greek Basket League and Euroleague basketball team Olympiacos, along with his brother Panagiotis Angelopoulos.[1] Giorgios Angelopoulos has an estimated wealth of €2 billion. His brother Panagiotis, has an estimated wealth of €2.8 billion. Together, the Angelopouloi brothers have an estimated combined fortune of €4.8 billion.

Angelopoulos is the son of the Greek shipping and steel magnate Konstantinos Angelopoulos. He is also the brother of Panagiotis Angelopoulos.

Olympiacos B.C.

Angelopoulos and his brother Panagiotis, won the Euroleague Club Executive of the Year Award in the year 2012, after their basketball club, Olympiacos B.C., won the Euroleague 2011-12 season's championship.[2]
