Early life

Born in New York and raised in Los Angeles, Gina started to sing and act at a young age. Her father (composer and performer) Henry Nemo brought her from New York when she was a child, and raised her in Los Angeles. She originally settled in West Hollywood and then in Pacific Palisades. She was active in school plays and musicals and started her first business at the age of 10.

Music career

Her first job in the music business was singing for an indie label called Stepping Tone Records in Hollywood. Singing was always her first love and she performed in many musicals in the Hollywood area.

Eventually she formed her first band called "22 Nemo" in the early 90's and they played in various Hollywood locations. Her first album was produced for an indie label based in Buffalo, New York in 1995, but it was never released. Eventually she released the album "Plastic Wonderland" on her own label called Omen Records in 1999. Many of the songs from that album were placed on MGM promotional DVD's for the show Stargate and indie films. She is currently recording a new album in England and in California.

TV and stage career

Gina started performing on stage when she was 4 years old and took part in many televised dance shows in her early years. She eventually landed a role in the Earl Carrol review in downtown Los Angeles. She has played the role of Anita in Westside Story and received rave reviews for a performance in Zorba that played in Santa Monica. Although she had various performances in different shows on television, she is most recognized as the role of Dorothy Pezzino alongside Johnny Depp in the hit Fox show "21 Jump Street."
