Gilson Lubin is a stand-up comedian originally from Saint Lucia. Raised most his life in Canada, Gilson spent the past couple of years on the CTV programme MTV Live as one of its original seven hosts. Lubin's career has led to performances at Montreal's prestigious Just for Laughs festival winning a development deal with SpikeTv 2004 and a year prior he won the 2003 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Stand-up Newcomer. Gilson has taken his act all over North America while making appearances on shows such as Comedy Central, Premium Blend. Of the proud moments, Lubin believes meeting Bill Cosby and opening for Dave Chappelle. He is also featured in the January 2008 94th episode of HBO's Def Comedy Jam .
