Gigen Peak

Gigen Peak (Bulgarian: връх Гиген, ‘Vrah Gigen’ \'vr&h gi-'gen\) is the summit of Erul Heights on Trinity Peninsula, Antarctic Peninsula, rising to 1092 m on the south side of Benz Pass, and surmounting Russell East Glacier to the west and south, and Cugnot Ice Piedmont to the east.

The peak is named after the settlement of Gigen in northern Bulgaria.

Location

Gigen Peak is located at 63°41′19″S 58°24′53″W / 63.68861°S 58.41472°W / -63.68861; -58.41472Coordinates: 63°41′19″S 58°24′53″W / 63.68861°S 58.41472°W / -63.68861; -58.41472, which is 14.39 km southeast of Mount Ignatiev, 7.97 km north-northeast of Mount Daimler and 6.67 km west-northwest of Panhard Nunatak.
