Gig Ryan, born Elizabeth Anne Martina Ryan, 5 November 1956, is an Australian poet, and daughter of notable Australian surgeon Peter John Ryan

Ryan was born in Leicester, England to Australian parents, and is currently the poetry editor for The Age newspaper. She has published several volumes of poetry and performed and recorded with the groups Disband and, currently, Driving Past. Her book Pure and Applied won the 1999 C. J. Dennis Prize for Poetry and her latest, Heroic Money, was shortlisted for the 2002 Kenneth Slessor Prize for Poetry.
