Gibraltar Hardware

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gibraltar Hardware is a maker of drumset and percussion hardware. It is most famed[citation needed] for making drumset frames and cages, but it also makes everything from hi-hat stands to drumset thrones. Various artists use Gibraltar hardware on their drums, including Lamb Of God's Chris Adler and Luis Conte. Gibraltar hardware packs are standard for current Gretsch Drums kits.

Gibraltar percussion hardware is a proprietary product of Kaman Music, a large independent distributor of musical instruments and accessories. It was part of the company Kaman, which is also a manufacturer of aircraft structures and components and a distributor of parts and equipment to the North American industry. In early 2008, Kaman sold its musical interests to the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation.[1]
