Gianni Nocenzi

Gianni Nocenzi was one of two keyboardist of Banco del mutuo soccorso during their successful years in the 1970s, the other keyboardist being his brother Vittorio Nocenzi. His idiosyncratic piano playing style was seminal for the genre Italian progressive rock.

After leaving the band, he released three solo albums:

1988: Empusa 1992: Soft Songs 1998: Double Exposure

Although he has not released any records in recent years, he is still an active composer and performer.
