Gian Paolo Dulbecco

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gian Paolo Dulbecco is an Italian painter.

Born in La Spezia (Italy) in 1941, he showed an early interest in art. He moved to Milan in 1958, where he began painting and graduated at the Politecnico.

In the early years of his artistic career, Dulbecco's works were expressionistic. In the last years of the 60s, when he moved to Rome, his art became influenced by metaphysical art, and he developed a style of painting reminiscent of magic realism. His paintings incorporate subject matter such as history, literature, philosophy, and mythology.
