From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gholāmḥusayn Ṣefātī-Dezfūlī (1952–1977) was the brother of Iran's most outstanding contemporary mujtaheda, Zohreh Sefati.

He was a member of the Mujahedin-e Khalq during the Pahlavi era, before leaving the group in order to join the more radical anti-capitalist group “Manṣūrān,” which targeted the foreign owned oil industry and assassinated Iranian and foreign businessmen. Other members of Manṣūrān were Mohsen Rezai and Ali Shamkhani. Ghulāmḥ̣usayn was responsible for bombing the headquarters of the American firm ATT in Tehran.

He has a brother, Īraj Ṣifātī-Dizfūlī (b. 1940), who represented the city of Abadan in the Iranian Parliament 1980-1984 and 1996-2000.
