Ghelari (Hungarian: Gyalár) is a commune in Hunedoara County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Ghelari, Govăjdia (Govasdia), Plop and Ruda.
Govăjdia village is the site of the Govăjdia Blast Furnace.
