Getafe, also known as Jetafe, is a fifth class municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 27,788 people.[2]
Getafe and surrounding areas suffered moderate to severe damages to houses, churches, and other structures in the aftermath of the October 2013 Bohol earthquake, which registered 7.1 on the Richter scale and is believed to have killed approximately 130 people thus far.[3]
