Germán Chavarría

This name uses Spanish naming customs; the first or paternal family name is Chavarría and the second or maternal family name is Jiménez.
Germán José Chavarría Jiménez (born 19 March 1958 in San José) is a former Costa Rican football player who played for C.S. Herediano.
Career
Chavarría played for Herediano from 1978 to 1995, and he is the record-holder for playing in 492 consecutive Costa Rican Primera División matches without being expelled.[1]
He was part of the Costa Rica national football team squad that played in the 1990 FIFA World Cup held in Italy, and featured in all four games played.[2] He also played at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.[3] The midfielder made his debut for the "Tico's" in 1983 and collected 46 caps, scoring 1 goal.[4] He played his last international on December 17, 1994 against Saudi Arabia.
