Gered Mankowitz

Gered Mankowitz (born 3 August 1946) is a British photographer of the rock music scene over the last 40 years. Some of his portraits of rock musicians, such as The Rolling Stones, Kate Bush, Jimi Hendrix and Slade, are now part of the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery.
Personal life
His father was the late author and screenwriter, Wolf Mankowitz. Gered Mankowitz's portrait was painted by Christian Furr in 2004.[1] He is currently a part-time lecturer at the University College Falmouth.[2]
