Gerald Raymond Ouellette (August 14, 1934 – June 25 , 1975) was a Canadian sports shooter and Olympic Champion.( score perfect 600 )Gold medalist
He was born in Windsor, Ontario. First Gold Medalist born in Windsor, Ontario at the age of 22 years.
He won Gold medal in Small-bore Rifle, prone in the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne.[1]
A 45-cent Canadian postage stamp portraying Ouellette was issued July 8, 1996, as part of the series Canadian Olympic Gold Medallists.[2][3]
In 1952. received the Lieutenant-Governor's Medal[4]
Inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame[5]
