Gerald W. "Gerry" Hyland is a member of the Fairfax County, Virginia Board of Supervisors. A Democrat, he has represented the Mount Vernon District (which includes Mount Vernon, Lorton, and Belle Haven^[1]) since 1988 (six four year terms). He served in the United States Air Force for 30 years, six of which on active duty, and four overseas.^[2]
