Gerald Drummond
Gerald George Drummond Johnson (born September 8, 1976) is a Costa Rican football player, who currently plays forward for Club Sport Herediano of the Costa Rican first division. Drummond had played almost his entire career for Saprissa, before being transferred to Club Sport Herediano this season.
He has also been a forward for the Costa Rica national football team, making his debut in a friendly against Chile on 29 May 1999.[1] His twin brother, Jervis Drummond, played for Saprissa. He played with his brother in the under 20 Football World Youth Championship held in Qatar in 1995,[2] as well as in Brazilian team Flamengo's minor league system.
With Saprissa, he won four national championships and two CONCACAF Champions Cups, and was part of the team that played the 2005 FIFA Club World Championship Toyota Cup, where Saprissa finished third behind São Paulo and Liverpool.[2]
