Georgi Dakov

Georgi Dakov (21 October 1967 – 29 July 1996) was a Bulgarian high jumper, who was actually born in Russia.
His personal best jump was 2.36 metres, achieved in August 1990 in Brussels. This is the current Bulgarian record. [1] Dakov reached the 1992 Olympic final and was the 1990 European Championship bronze medallist. He died in a car crash on 29 July 1996.
