George F. Tardiff was an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Benedictine

Tardiff was the head football coach for the Benedictine Ravens located in Atchison, Kansas. He held that position for 3 seasons, from 1974 until 1976. His coaching record at Benedictine was 15 wins and 15 losses. As of the conclusion of the 2011 season, this ranks him #6 at Benedictine in total wins and #8 at the school in winning percentage (.500).[1]

Washburn

Tardiff was the 35th head football coach for Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas and he held that position for two seasons, from 1983 until 1984. His overall coaching record at Washburn was 8 wins, 7 losses, and 0 ties. This ranks him 17th at Washburn in terms of total wins and 14th at Washburn in terms of winning percentage.[2]

He died in New Jersey after a short illness in 2012.[3]
