George L. Quiett, Jr. (September 6, 1928 – December 28, 2003) was the 11th head football coach for the North Carolina Central University Eagles located in Durham, North Carolina and he held that position for five seasons, from 1968 until 1972. His coaching record at North Carolina Central was 35 wins, 12 losses, and 1 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him third at North Carolina Central in total wins and second at North Carolina Central in winning percentage (.740).[1]
